We're going to the Big Pitch Stage!

Dear Friends, Volunteers, and Donors,

Big news from the Cooking for the Crowd kitchen...we're heading to The Pitch stage!

As part of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas' Social Innovation Accelerator Program, we participated in Demo Day alongside 10 game-changing ventures, sharing our mission and vision for expanding our impact. We are thrilled to announce that Cooking for the Crowd was selected as one of five finalists advancing to The Pitch on April 29.

We're proud to stand alongside this year's fellow finalists:

• From Ordinary to Extraordinary, led by Dr. Antoria Gillon

• #TeenWritersProject, led by Delmetria Millener

• Restorative Farms, led by Dr. Christopher Hill

Each of these organizations represents the very best of what social innovation looks like in North Texas. Bold ideas, compassionate leaders, and a deep commitment to lifting up our community. We are humbled to share the stage with them and celebrate the incredible work they do every single day.

For Cooking for the Crowd, reaching this moment is more than a milestone. It is a reflection of the community that has rallied behind us. Every meal served, every volunteer hour given, and every dollar donated has brought us to this stage. The Pitch is our opportunity to share that story with a room full of foundations, community leaders, and change makers who are shaping the future of North Texas and we plan to make every second count.

Cooking for the Crowd is taking the stage at Toyota Music Factory to share how we work at the intersection of food insecurity and nonprofit support, providing skills and services that help people move out of poverty and toward stability.
