Summer with Cooking for the Crowd☀️
It was a busy summer at Cooking for the Crowd! From supporting nonprofit programs and visiting local farms this season has given us plenty of opportunities to connect, learn, and see our mission in action.
This summer, we visited two of our local farm partners, Restorative Farms and Big Tex Urban Farms, to learn more about the work happening right here in Dallas to grow fresh food and strengthen our local food system.

Both have generously supported Cooking for the Crowd with fresh produce, giving us another way to bring community connections directly into our kitchen. We love being able to source fresh, local produce and incorporate it into the meals we prepare for our clients.

⭐ Seeing the Impact at Pasos
After helping fuel Pasos for Oak Cliff’s Summer All Stars Sneaker & Film Program, we got to see what the students had been working toward at their All Stars Showcase!

High school students from various DISD campuses unveiled original sneaker designs, short films, and graphic design projects they created throughout the summer, with judges voting for their favorite designs. A few lucky students also received back-to-school scholarships! It was special to go from preparing their meals behind the scenes to being there in person to celebrate their creativity, talent, and hard work.
Shop With Purpose
We also launched our Pampered Chef fundraiser! It’s an easy way to support Cooking for the Crowd while shopping for kitchen tools, cookware, gifts, and everyday essentials.
50% of the proceeds come back to Cooking for the Crowd, helping us continue providing affordable meals to nonprofits throughout our community. Shopping link is now live! Click here for the amazing products that are built to last!

💚 North Texas Giving Day Is Ahead
Summer may be winding down, but we still have plenty to look forward to!
We’re gearing up for North Texas Giving Day, an opportunity to share our mission and show how a meal can make an impact far beyond the table.
In the weeks ahead, be on the lookout for our NTGD campaign and more ways to support Cooking for the Crowd as we continue nourishing people and strengthening communities.
